Here’s a rundown of the types of video content that Dark Lab Records Ltd gladly accepts for distribution through our esteemed video partners:

Approval

*Pro Tip: Please ensure that your videos steer clear of any websites, permanent logos, scrolling credits, nudity, violence, or explicit drug use.

We’re committed to collaborating with you and providing constructive feedback on your music video to ensure it aligns with our partner’s specifications. Rest assured, rejection will only occur if necessary revisions are unfeasible.

Upon approval of your video, an email confirming the acceptance will be sent to the provided email address mentioned in your video application.

Delivery

Once your video gets the green light for distribution, we’ll seamlessly dispatch it to the partners you’ve designated.

*Pro Tip: To ensure a smooth process, we kindly request all videos to be submitted with a go-live date at least 3 weeks from the submission date. This allows our partners ample time for ingestion, download, processing, and uploading of your video to their platforms. Additionally, it provides our marketing team the necessary window to strategically pitch the video for a coveted feature placement—just as we do with audio!

Pricing

Pricing Breakdown:
You pocket a generous 70% of the royalties generated from the monetization of your music videos on platforms that support it. In addition, our pricing structure looks like this:

– $0 for the delivery of your video to our foundational video distribution partners.
– Re-uploads following a takedown will be compensated at the standard rate.
– All payments are conveniently processed through PayPal.

Note: The “Go Live Date” is synonymous with your “Release Date.” This is the pivotal moment when your video takes the spotlight on VEVO and other esteemed platforms.
